Since 2021, Unic Air has been working on developing a new, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly air handling unit. We are now close to reaching our goal and will soon be able to present our latest air handling unit – COOLHEAT.
The groundbreaking aspect of COOLHEAT is that it was previously not possible to create a traditional heat pump solution with CO₂ as the refrigerant. Unic Air has discovered an entirely new way to achieve this. By offering heat pumps with CO₂ refrigerant in our air handling units, Unic Air significantly contributes to the green transition. Since CO₂ is a natural refrigerant with a GWP of 1, it is easy to use in environmentally conscious and green buildings, such as DGNB-certified buildings.
